Lake was named President of FCMA in 2011. In this role, and as State Representative (2008-2016) he has advocated for the growth and economic success of the manufacturing industry. Additionally, he is responsible for administration oversight, increasing public awareness, policy development and membership. Lake has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from University of Florida and worked as a civil engineer/small business owner for 30 years.
Maria joined the FCMA staff in April 1999, originally working as support staff for membership, community relations, workforce development, and public relations, tasked with database upkeep and the monthly newsletter. Currently, Maria is charged with supporting the Government Relations, Environmental Health & Safety and Business to Business committees. Maria also supports the Board of Directors, Professional Progress and produces FCMA special events, including the Outstanding Employee & Company Awards, Annual Symposium and Golf Tournament.
Clay joined the FCMA team in September 2019 as Business Development Manager. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from UNF and worked at UPS for 15 years. Clay supports our Membership and Workforce Development Committees and his focus is on growing the association and working with existing members to ensure they are best-equipped to meet business demands. After serving on the Jacksonville City Council and in the Florida House of Representatives, Clay is now a member of the Florida Senate and supports sound fiscal management, pro-business policies, and greater quality of life for the First Coast and all of Florida.
Stephanie became part of the FCMA staff in fall 2020 as our administrative support. Stephanie studied literature at FSCJ and worked for 14 years for Stein Mart prior to joining the FCMA team.
