Lake was named President of FCMA in 2011. In this role, and as State Representative (2008-2016) he has advocated for the growth and economic success of the manufacturing industry. Additionally, he is responsible for administration oversight, increasing public awareness, policy development and membership. Lake has a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from University of Florida and worked as a civil engineer/small business owner for 30 years.
Maria joined the FCMA staff in April 1999, originally working as support staff for membership, community relations, workforce development, and public relations, tasked with database upkeep and the monthly newsletter. As the association grew, Maria was charged with the Membership and Community Relations, and Environmental Health & Safety committees, which she currently supports. Maria also supports professional progress and produces FCMA special events, including the Outstanding Employee & Company Awards, Annual Summit and Golf Tournament.
Amanda was added to the FCMA staff in May 2009. She serves as staff support for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors and focuses on FCMA's public relations, finance, and government relations, and workforce development committees. Amanda graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor's degree in political science and a Master's degree in in public administration.
Clay joined the FCMA team in September 2019 as Business Development Manager. His focus is on growing the association and working with existing members to ensure they are best-equipped to meet business demands. Clay earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from UNF and previously worked at UPS for 15 years. Clay also currently serves in the Florida House of Representatives where he supports sound fiscal management, pro-business policies, increased economic development opportunities, and greater quality of life for the First Coast and all of Florida.
Rob is our local FloridaMakes Business Advisor. He has more than 34 years of manufacturing experience leading complex cross-functional processes in the military aviation and commercial manufacturing sectors including leading the Navy’s largest aviation multi-product repair depot and full responsibility for the quality, environmental, and safety programs for a large commercial manufacturer. Rob has served as a board chairman for the First Coast Manufacturers Association and holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University as well as a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.
