ADVOCACY

For over 30 years, FCMA has been advocating on behalf of the North Florida manufacturing industry. Having a unified voice makes a difference in local, state and federal affairs. Our advocacy was instrumental in making the sales tax exemption on manufacturing equipment permanent. This was a major initiative pushed forward by FCMA for many years.

We are continually looking for ways to improve the business climate for manufacturers on the First Coast. If you want your voice heard, I encourage you to join FCMA in January to visit with policymakers in Tallahassee. The annual trip is a unique opportunity to meet with key officials and help them understand the issues that matter to manufacturers.
