Our July General Meeting will be held on Monday, July 30, 4:00-6:00PM at Polyhistor International. Located at: 11200-7 St. Johns Industrial Pkwy N, Jacksonville, FL 32246

Polyhistor International is a product development and engineering design firm with expertise in rapid prototyping/3D printing, low volume, and mass-production. Polyhistor uses a multitude of manufacturing methods to bring customer products to market at a fast pace and at reduced costs.

In conjunction with JAXUSA Partnership and CareerSource Northeast Florida, we would like to invite you to join us for our Manufacturing Workforce Briefing on Wednesday, June 27, from 11:00 am to 1 pm, at Medtronic.

We will enjoy networking and a panel-led discussion of the changing landscape for manufacturing, specifically leveraging strengths in the multi-generational workforce within the manufacturing space. We’re interested in exploring the strengths of each generation as an advantage to attract and retain, as well as develop, the manufacturing workforce. We’d also like to hear your input on the advancement of our region’s economic development strategy.

Lunch will be provided. Cost is $25 per person.

CareerSource Northeast Florida in partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), will be hosting a Construction and Manufacturing Job Fair on Thursday, June 14 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at FSCJ’s Deerwood Center.

Construction and Manufacturing Companies with open and available positions that they are actively recruiting for at the time of the event.  We do ask that you post your jobs in Employ Florida in advance of this event.  While not a requirement, this will help to advertise and fill your vacancies.  We at CareerSource Northeast Florida would be happy to assist you in posting the positions in the system. There is no charge for this service.

General Meeting at North Florida TPO

Our May General Meeting will be held on Monday, May 21, 4:00-6:00PM at the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization. Located at: 980 North Jefferson Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209

The North Florida TPO is the independent regional transportation planning agency for Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties. They lead our region’s efforts in planning, funding and mobilizing resources to develop and maintain our transportation system.
