As we prepare for the summer internship season, we are reaching out to connect with business partners in the community. CareerSource NEFL is offering two unique opportunities for employers to connect with young job seekers:

OPTION #1: The CHOICES Summer Program; This initiative assists students ages 16-19 with exploring career pathways within our region. If you are interested in hosting interns, click here to become a worksite. Deadline to respond is March 11, 2022.
OPTION #2: Hire graduating high school seniors; In partnership with the local school districts, we invite you to secure your spot in the High School Senior Career Fairs. Contact the county representative listed here if you would like to participate.

SAVE THE DATE – The Clay County School District’s Career and Technical Education Department is planning a Career/Hiring Fair for graduating seniors on May 4th at the Clay County Fairgrounds.  The registration link for business partners will be available soon. You will be able to set-up materials on May 3rd. Business partners who can hire 18-year-olds for entry-level positions should plan on attending. Please plan to have applications (paper and/or online) available.
